Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and TabiPrep.com ("the site," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use the site
You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
The service
The site provides MCAT study flashcards, spaced-repetition scheduling and related study tools. It's currently offered free of charge while it's being tested. We may change, add or remove features, and if we introduce paid plans, we'll show the price and terms clearly before you're asked to pay. Nothing will be charged without your express agreement.
Educational content; no guarantees
The cards and study materials are for educational purposes. We work to keep them accurate, but we don't guarantee that every card is complete, current or error-free, or that using the site will lead to any particular score or admission result. Use the "Report this card" link if you spot a problem.
Not affiliated with the AAMC
MCAT is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). This site is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AAMC. Links to AAMC materials are provided for convenience.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with the site's operation, scraping or copying the card collection in bulk, reselling access, or using the site for anything unlawful.
Our content and yours
The site's design, cards and software belong to us or our licensors; you may use them for your own personal study. Your notes and written answers remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can provide the site to you.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that we need to close to protect the site or other users.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted or that data will never be lost; keeping an exported backup of your progress is a good idea.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you haven't paid anything.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
